Online Class: Pattern Writing

You’ve designed a great piece, and now it’s time to write up the pattern to share. Whether you want to self-publish or submit to a publication, this class will show you how to write up a clear and easy-to-follow pattern that works for any knitter. I will discuss sizing and fit, addressing grading and size ranges. I’ll share secrets for handling pattern stitches, written and charted. I’ll talk about charting software & solutions, and provide tips for creating easy-to-use charts. And Kate will share with you the three key tricks to make sure both knitters and editors love you!

This is an online class that takes place over Zoom.

Once we have received your order, we will send you an email to confirm and to go over a bit more information.

Please note that these classes are geared towards adults as children tend to learn at a much different speed. If you have a young friend under the age of 16 who would like to learn, please reach out to us directly to make arrangements.

Cancelation Policy: If you need to miss the class, please give us as much notice as you can. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, but if you give us more than 24 hours notice, we will transfer your registration fee to another class or to store credit.
