Emily C. Gillies Merino Worsted

We are so excited to introduce you to a brand new independent yarn dyer, operating right here in Toronto, Ontario! As an experienced knitter, weaver, and artist, Emily has been a very active member of the Toronto crafting scene for some time, most notably as a key member of the team behind the Great Toronto Yarn Hop. 

Her foray into dyeing yarn has produced some of the most beautiful products we have seen in quite a long time, and we cannot wait to share them with you. Her Merino Sport, milled in Canada, is a perfect yarn for the myriad of popular medium-weight garment patterns available. It also makes a lovely warm and thick pair of socks, and excellent accessories!

While no dye lot is available, they are usually dyed in batches and we do our utmost to ensure each skein of the same colourway and your order matches as well as possible. Always buy enough yarn for your project. If we cannot guarantee a good match between skeins, we will contact you before shipment to make arrangements.
