Introducing the Cordsmith, made especially for us with the YU logo displayed proudly! This tool allows you to whip up an i-cord in no time. I-cords are a tube usually made by knitting three or four stitches over and over again and used as ties, bows, cast-on methods, rugs, details on garments, and tons of other decorative and functional uses. 

If you have ever hand-knit an i-cord, you know how time consuming it can be. Or you my recognize this from your childhood as the product of a corker or a knitting nancy! This tool speeds up the process immensely. 

Sizing:
Original Cordsmith: best for DK, worsted, aran and chunky weights
Cordsmith Mini: best for lace, fingering,  and sport weights

Designed by a maker, for makers. The handle is made from 3D printed plastic in seven color options, with 3 stainless steel latch needles, and has been designed to be comfortable to hold for long periods of time. It has a lightly textured surface so it’s easy to grip.
