Class: Lace 101

An introduction to the magic of lace knitting. Through swatching, we explore different types of stitch patterns, and how to work them. We also talk about how to read patterns, making sure you’re confident with both written and charted instructions. We’ll also talk about how to identify, fix and prevent mistakes, and provide tips for making lace easier and more fun. If you’ve got a lace project you want to tackle, bring it so we can make sure we work on the skills you need.

All in-store classes take place at 6pm in our Kensington Market shop. Please arrive a few minutes early.

Once we have received your order, we will send you an email to confirm and to go over a bit more information.

Please note that these classes are geared towards adults as children tend to learn at a much different speed. If you have a young friend under the age of 16 who would like to learn, please reach out to us directly to make arrangements.

Cancelation Policy: If you need to miss the class, please give us as much notice as you can. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, but if you give us more than 24 hours notice, we will transfer your registration fee to another class or to store credit. Our space is a scent-free environment.
