Class: Mittens 101
Mittens are not only a key winter wardrobe item, and a great gift, but they're also a terrific way to learn some new knitting skills. This class takes knitters through a mini "training" mitten – a classic cuff-up mitt with gusset thumb – so that they can learn everything they need about making mitts in a short amount of time, and then gets them started on a pair of full size mittens. We’ll also talk about how to make fingerless versions, and other style and fit customizations.
All in-store classes take place at 6pm in our Kensington Market shop. Please arrive a few minutes early.
Once we have received your order, we will send you an email to confirm and to go over a bit more information.
Please note that these classes are geared towards adults as children tend to learn at a much different speed. If you have a young friend under the age of 16 who would like to learn, please reach out to us directly to make arrangements.
Cancelation Policy: If you need to miss the class, please give us as much notice as you can. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, but if you give us more than 24 hours notice, we will transfer your registration fee to another class or to store credit. Our space is a scent-free environment.
