Class: Granny Squares 102
Have a pile of finished granny squares and no idea of how to join them? Want to refine your technique to create a more polished look? This class is for you!
Your teacher will take you through a few of our favourite ways to sew and crochet your squares together, to create both visible and invisible seams. We'll also cover the nifty join-as-you-go method to eliminate the need for seams altogether! Along the way we'll talk about some tips and tricks to take your granny squares to the next level, using techniques such as the magic ring, standing stitches and the invisible join.
This is a fast-paced class and is aimed at the advanced beginner who is already very comfortable with making a basic granny square, completing a square in 20-30 minutes. If you've never made a granny square before then please join us in Granny Squares 101.
- Skill Level: intermediate, crocheters must be comfortable with basic granny squares
- Homework: using bulky or worsted weight yarn, please make and bring with you three granny squares with four rounds in each. We will send more detailed instructions upon registration.
- Materials: please bring along your homework and some more yarn as well as the hook you used to make your squares.

Once we have received your order, we will send you an email to confirm and to go over a bit more information. We ask that you arrive approximately 5 minutes before your class begins so we can begin on time.
Please note that these classes are more geared towards adults as children tend to learn at a much different speed. If you have a young friend under the age of 16 who would like to learn, please reach out to us directly to make arrangements.

Cancelation Policy: If you need to miss the class, please give us as much notice as you can. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, but if you give us more than 24 hours notice, we will transfer your registration fee to another class or to store credit.
