Class: Knitting 101

Get yourself off to the right start, with this motivating two-hour workshop that will prepare you to make your first project. This class teaches students how to cast on, to perform both the knit and purl stitch, and how to bind off. With these skills in hand you can complete a variety of simple projects such as rectangular scarves, head bands, coffee cozies, and more.

Materials for your first project are included in the registration price: one skein of Estelle Chunky in your chosen colour and a matching set of wood circular needles.

Once we have received your order, we will send you an email to confirm and to go over a bit more information. We ask that you arrive approximately 10 minutes before your class begins to allow us time to help you pick out your yarn. 

Please note that these classes are geared towards adults as children tend to learn at a much different speed. If you have a young friend under the age of 16 who would like to learn, please reach out to us directly to make arrangements.

Cancelation Policy: If you need to miss the class, please give us as much notice as you can. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, but if you give us more than 24 hours notice, we will transfer your registration fee to another class or to store credit. 

Please note: the price of this class will rise slightly in October in order to raise our teacher's pay rates. We appreciate your understanding and support.
