Laine Magazine
Laine is a high-quality Nordic knit & lifestyle magazine and publishing house based in Finland. We cherish natural fibres, slow living, local craftsmanship and beautiful, simple things in life. Our intention is to inspire you to gather and share, to be part of a community of like-minded knitters, makers and thinkers from near and far. Knitting is more than just knit, knit, purl. It is a feeling.
Laine magazine includes patterns from the leading knitwear designers, insightful, long-format stories from the world of wool, interviews, exciting travel articles, seasonal recipes and strong, visual storytelling. Since 2020, Laine also publishes books.
The latest issue:
The first issue of Laine Magazine was published in 2016, and this year marks Laine’s 10th anniversary!
The special bookazine, Laine Anniversary Issue, features 23 knitwear patterns from international designers — designers who have contributed to Laine’s journey over the last ten years.
The bookazine is a celebration of Laine’s beloved Nordic aesthetics as well as contemporary knitwear design.
Some patterns are fresh takes on classic Laine designs, others incorporate elements from the designers’ previous patterns for Laine, while the rest capture the spirit of Laine Magazine in their style.
